This is Ian13's personal geocoin design. Here are his comments he posted to the Geocoin Forum as Geocaching.com:
"I chose the front design because penguins are linked with computers. (Tux is the Linux mascot and this penguin is based on that tux.) The caveman effect shows it is 'hunting'. Basically it is something technology linked that involves hunting in the wild (like Geocaching). Penguins are also found at the south pole - showing how Geocaching reaches everywhere. Clever, huh?"
Despite the early production photo, this geocoin will have its own icon and will be trackable on Geocaching.com.
Delivery is expected to begin by October 10th.
