This is the regular edition coin of the September Geocoin Club Coin.
Every once in a while
we like to do something we call an "old dude" coin, it's a design that
pays homage to someone in the past that contributed to the chain
of events that lead up to the creation of geocaching. I came up with
the idea of using someone fundamental to the start of modern rocketry
and was surprised by at least one of the names I came up with. This is a
2" antique silver coin featuring three 3d busts on the front and a
small tidbit from the life of each person on the back
