It's another great design from Chris Mackey, this one is a beautiful and functional illumination compass that works night or day. It's 1.75" with a detailed 3D and glitter front and has all the instructions on the back. It comes with a silk ribbon to allow hanging it.
STEP ONE: Suspend or elevate this coin at head height Mark position of shadow. This is west.
STEP TWO: Wait 15 minutes (more time = more accuracy) Mark position of shadow. This is east.
STEP THREE: Retrieve your Sun & Moon Compass coin. Make a line from the East to the West mark.
STEP FOUR: Align your coin on your West to East line. Get your bearings and get moving! MOON NAVIGATION: If the moon rises before sunset the bright side will be the west. If the moon rises after midnight, the bright side is east.
