February 2025 - The Key To Happiness

This February is traditionally all about matters of the heart and Valentine's Day, but the overlying theme always seems to boil down to a state of happiness. Not just who makes you happy, but what makes you happy? For some it's companionship, for some it's getting back to nature, for others it's returning to the basics of human satisfaction in having goals and meeting them. For cachers, sometimes it's all three.
February has some awfully dark and short days in the north so we tend to spend a lot more time pondering these questions. Sometimes it's a little too cold to make the effort. Sometimes finding the time is inconvenient. When I started on this project I started looking at some famous quotes about happiness. Warning... There are a lot of them if you go down that rabbit hole. So many of them are brilliant observations and most of them agree on some simple concepts. Happiness is a state of being that is entirely dependent on you, your outlook, and how you want to face the world. Loving what you do and spending time doing what you love are often the key points to recognizing your own happiness.
This coin has a simple directory design that can help you find your key to happiness. Ask yourself if you're happy and then proceed to find your keys. Inevitably, you'll find yourself on the trail, hunting caches, maybe with companions, maybe with nothing but the blessed quiet of nature to accompany you. Whatever your key, I hope you find it along the way of the search for cache that will become a favorite memory of a happy time. Cache safe and be happy!
