This geocoin is the personal geocoin of
PSU Fan. Here is what he had to say about the design:
"I picked this coin to provide a coin that signifies the quest to cache throughout the 50 states. Many cachers show the states that they have found caches, and this coin represents them."
Despite the early production photo, this coin is trackable and has it's own icon on Geocaching.com.
